Organising construction details and financial data for large-scale infrastructure projects

The pandemic forced Romanian city halls to undergo digitalisation, particularly in the area of tax collection. As part of this effort, I designed an iOS/Android app that allows citizens to conveniently check and pay their taxes, duties, and other fees such as parking. This takes the hassle out of tax paying, which is notoriously known for lengthy queues and bureaucracy. Additionally, the app includes a news feature which fosters better communication between citizens and city halls.
When citizens send complaints to the city hall, such as potholes in the streets, fallen trees or illegally parked cars, a city worker must identify the location of the incident and fix it. I designed an Android app which enables city workers to easily identify these incidents on the map, and add updates to each incident as it goes through different states: identified → job in progress → job done → verified. The app connects to a web interface used by citizens, allowing them to see the progress on the incidents they reported, improving trust and transparent communication with the local administration. In return, authorities have full traceability over each incident report.
